Using the Sales Co-Pilot
Once Sales Co-Pilot is enabled (see Enabling Sales Co-Pilot), you’ll start seeing AI-generated reply suggestions when you open conversations in your inbox. This article covers how to use those suggestions day-to-day.
How It Works
- Open any conversation in your Inbox.
- Sales Co-Pilot analyzes the conversation context and generates a suggested reply.
- Review the suggestion — it may include relevant services, pricing from your price book, or a recommended next step.
- Use the suggestion as-is, edit it to add your personal touch, or skip it entirely.
- Send the message when you’re happy with it.
Sales Co-Pilot only makes suggestions. You stay in control of every message — nothing is sent automatically.
Tips for Getting the Most Out of It
- Treat suggestions as a starting point. Adding a personal detail or two makes the message feel more human and builds stronger client relationships.
- Keep your price book up to date. Sales Co-Pilot pulls service names and pricing from your price book, so outdated entries lead to outdated suggestions. Update your price book in Settings > Price Book.
- Review suggestions for the first few days. Get a feel for the tone and content. If something feels off, adjust your Custom Instructions in the AI & Automation settings to guide future suggestions.
- Great for newer team members. Sales Co-Pilot helps less experienced staff reply confidently with accurate pricing and professional language.
- Works alongside the AI Assistant. If the AI Assistant handled the first few messages and then you jumped in (triggering Human Takeover), Sales Co-Pilot is right there to help you continue the conversation smoothly.
