A missed call solution is any system that automatically engages a caller when their call goes unanswered, so the lead doesn’t disappear into voicemail.

The most common implementation is auto-text: when a call is missed, an SMS goes out to the caller within seconds with a short message like “Hi, sorry I missed your call. I’m on a job — what can I help with?” Other variations include AI voice receptionists that answer calls before they go to voicemail, and after-hours routing that sends callers to a booking page.
